What to look for

  • Four horses from mild to severe, left to right; upper incisors above, lower below
  • Blue arrows: roots being resorbed. Red circles: bulbous extra cementum (hypercementosis)
  • Equine odontoclastic tooth resorption and hypercementosis: painful, mostly in older horses, and the incisors usually come out

Against the normal

Read the teeth in order, each against its neighbour and the opposite side: the root, the space around it, and the bone of the jaw.

Read the film, then see the anatomy in 3D.

Vetomica puts every head and brain structure on this x-ray in a complete 3D horse you can peel, cut and X-ray from any angle, with every imaging finding beside its normal and practice at reading films.

The 3D animals are free for 7 days, no card. Imaging findings are Pro; every normal study stays free.
