Where it runs from and to

- Origin
- Proximal caudolateral humerus, lying in the brachial groove as it spirals round the shaft.
- Insertion
- Medial side of the proximal forearm, chiefly the ulnar tuberosity, alongside the biceps tendon.
- Action
- Flexes the elbow.
- Nerve
- Musculocutaneous nerve.
